How to: Set Up a Loan Out Company

Welcome to our guide on how to set up a loan-out company feature in GreenSlate. I’ll walk you through each step, so you can complete the process with ease.

1. Adding Loan Out Company

To begin the setup process, click the My Loan Out Company button from the left navigation menu.

2. Add New Loan Out Company

Next, select the Add Loan Out Company button to start creating a new profile.

3. Enter Company Name

Then enter your loan-out company name.

4. Enter Tax Identification Number

Then, enter your tax identification number.

The information remains editable at any time, except for the Company Name and Tax ID. These 2 fields are locked as soon as the loan out company is created.

If the Company Name or Tax ID Number (EIN) needs to be updated after start work has been submitted, please contact GreenSlate Support.

5. Enter Company Address

Next, fill out the required address details.

6. Enter Phone Number

Enter your company phone number.

7. Select Company Filing Type

In the bottom section of the form, you will need to add your company's incorporation details. Select the Company Type from the drop-down.

Note: California-based companies will need to add the CA EDD Number for accurate reporting.

GreenSlate does not accept Partnerships, Trusts, or Estates. Your selection should match section 3 of your W-9 form.

8. Select Date of Incorporation

Next, select the Date of Incorporation and State.

9. Upload Articles of Incorporation

Upload your articles of incorporation documents to the file uploader.

10. Upload Qualification Documents

Then upload the required qualification documents if your company types require them.

11. Optional: Upload Additional Qualification Files

If needed, upload any remaining qualification files.

12. Save Company Information

Click the Save button.

13. Confirm Save Action

After clicking on Save, a document will pop up on the screen. Verify that all the information about your company is correct and click on Save.

If you initially completed start work as an individual but need to transition to a loan-out employee:

  1. Add your loan-out company to your profile.

  2. Create a loan-out start work packet.

  3. Reach out to App Support ([email protected]) and request that they move the individual start form to your loan out company.
