How to: Set up Default Employee Position Coding Templates

Welcome to our guide on how to manage GreenSlate's default employee position coding options. I’ll walk you through each step, so you can complete the process with ease.

1. Create a Start Work Default Code Template

If you would like to create a template, access the Start Work Default Codes module located in the left-hand navigation menu.

2. Add New Default Code Item

Then, click on Add Item.

3. Name Your Template

Next, enter the Name of your template.

4. Add a Description

Then, add a Description for your template.

5. Add Default Codes

Next, Add your default Codes.

6. Add Your Holiday and Vacation Codes

Then add your holiday and vacation codes.

7. Add Your Detailed Codes

Next, add Detailed codes (if needed).

8. Select Deduction Codes

Then, click on the Deductions tab if applicable.

9. Enter Deduction Code

Next, enter your deduction codes.

10. Save Default Code Settings

Then, click Save.

11. Select the Template Codes on the Start Form

Next, access the Account Codes grid on the start form.

12. Select the Template Codes

Then, select the newly created template from the Select Template dropdown and choose the codes you want to auto-generate.

13. Submit the Start Form

Lastly, Submit the start form.
