Deployment v106.0 - 09/21/2026

Version 106.0 focuses on approvals, attachments, reporting accuracy, and a lot more: single sign-on users get a smoother Okta re-authentication experience, attachments can be reordered and renamed directly within a document, and a new report groups paid 1099 transactions by vendor and work state for year-end reconciliation.

Beyond these headline updates, this release includes a broad set of fixes across accounting and payroll, including vendor navigation, tax withholding and timecard entry. These changes are aimed at reducing manual work and tightening up day-to-day workflows throughout the platform.

New Features

  • Single Sign-On Usability Improvements: This release includes several security and usability enhancements for Single Sign-On (SSO) users. Key updates include the ability to re-authenticate via Okta without leaving the page, which preserves unsaved form data, and enhanced security in session handling.

  • Organize Attachments Updates: Users can now organize and reorder attachments within documents to ensure they appear in a logical sequence for approvers and auditors. This update includes the ability to rename files and ensures that PDF exports maintain the custom order set by the user.

  • All Paid Transactions with 1099 Filter & Subtotal by State Report: This new 1099 report includes all paid transactions, regardless of 1099 coding. It provides detailed vendor groupings with subtotals by work state to assist with tax reconciliation.

New Features in Beta

If you're interested in trying out any of the new features below, please send an email to [email protected].

  • Domestic Bank of America ISO 20022: Bank of America integrations now support XML ISO 20022 domestic ACH payment files, allowing users to process domestic payments with validated vendor and bank records.

  • East West ACH Auto-Send: East West ISO 20022 ACH payment files now transmit automatically for domestic USD payments once final approval is complete. The system provides real-time transmission status updates and sends email notifications if a file fails to generate or transmit.

  • Wells Fargo ACH Auto-Send: Domestic USD payment files now transmit to Wells Fargo using the ISO 20022 XML format, removing the manual download and upload step.

  • Faster GL Bible Report: The GL Bible report has been migrated to a new reporting engine, improving performance and stability, particularly for larger projects. This update ensures faster report generation while maintaining the same styling and data structure as the previous version.

  • Accounting Reports Parameters Page Redesign: The Accounting Reports parameters page has a new interface, featuring an accordion menu with search and standardized filter options. These updates make configuring report parameters more intuitive.

  • Sick Accrual per Work Location: Sick time accrual now calculates and tracks balances based on an employee's work location. This includes per-policy grouping in the Paid Time Off Balances (YTD) grid, separate sick leave sections on Earnings Statements, and a hierarchical deduction process that draws hours from the most appropriate local policies.

  • Caps on Other Earnings: Users can now define payment limits for other earnings per week, month, or production. This update adds cap and paid-to-date (PTD) fields on Digital Timecards and Start Forms, along with a warning when an earning exceeds its defined limit.

  • Manage Code Types: New permissions allow production teams to enable, disable, and set codes as required or budget-related. This streamlines project setup by giving clients direct control over code management.

  • Start Form Deal End Date: This new field provides users with visibility into when deal memos expire by allowing an optional date to be entered on the Start Form and viewed within the Start Forms grid.

Enhancements

Additional enhancements that streamline workflows, improve reliability, and enhance user experience:

  • Introduced a new notification setting that allows approvers to control whether they receive emails for documents that are not yet at their step but are eligible for skipping. This change reduces email noise for future-step approvers while ensuring next-step approvers continue to receive all necessary notifications.

  • System-generated summary and detail descriptions now appear in all caps for Payroll Transactions and Payroll Bills, improving consistency and readability across the grids and reports for all users.

  • Updated the Location and Episode drop-down menus on the Payroll Posting page to display both codes and their corresponding descriptions. This enhancement provides immediate context for users during payroll processing, helping to ensure the correct codes are selected and reducing potential errors.

  • Updated the Vendor Payee hyperlink behavior to open the Vendor form in view mode within the same tab, rather than launching the General Ledger in a pop-up window. This change improves navigation consistency across the platform by aligning the Vendors grid with the existing user experience found in the Bills and Purchase Orders modules. Users can still access the Edit action from the form's footer if modifications are required.

  • Disabled the ability for crew members to add attachments to timecards once they have been approved. This prevents new documentation from being added after the payroll review is complete.

  • A new permission allows authorized users to view unmasked Social Security Numbers (SSN) and Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) within the Project Vendor form and grid. This change ensures that sensitive tax information remains protected by default while providing necessary access for verification purposes.

  • Users can now map the Signatory Company field to PDF fields when setting up custom forms attached to Start Forms. This update ensures that the signatory information, defined by the union on the Start Form, correctly populates the custom form PDF. This change applies to all non-standalone custom forms and benefits production clients who need to display legal entity information on their documentation.

  • Added the District of Columbia Form D-4A (Certificate of Nonresidence) as a conditional section within the tax withholding process. This allows employees working in DC but residing elsewhere to certify their nonresident status and exempt themselves from DC income tax withholding directly within the application. • Improved the user experience for Screen Actors Guild (SAG) members by automatically enabling and displaying the Makeup Time columns when creating a new timecard. This change ensures that the necessary fields are immediately visible for SAG positions, while also fixing a bug that previously prevented these columns from appearing automatically when makeup times were present on an hourly timecard.

  • The Digital Timecard now includes an independent On/Off Production drop-down for each day row, replacing the previous single blanket setting for the entire timecard. Users can specify production status with per-day granularity, ensuring more accurate data submission to HTG.

  • Users can now paste culture-formatted currency amounts, such as those that include symbols or group separators, directly into currency fields. Previously, input validation was too restrictive and rejected values pasted from external sources such as spreadsheets.

  • Chart of Accounts now automatically pre-populates the parent Account field when creating a new sub account from an Account row, reducing manual entry for accountants.

  • Reduced the minimum character requirement for PCard envelope summary and detail descriptions from five characters to one when submitting through the CASHét and PCard APIs, aligning API validation with the manual entry process.

  • Removed the Tax ID/FEIN format restriction for Canadian projects, allowing alphanumeric Business Numbers up to 20 characters, while US projects keep the existing XX-XXXXXXX format.

  • All 50 US states are now automatically added as Work State codes when a new US project is created, reducing manual setup time.

  • The Bank Accounts form now requires a Check Stock selection when an account is linked to Bill Payments, ensuring accounts are properly configured.

  • The Unposted Petty Cash grid now displays only completed transactions, improving the accuracy and clarity of the unposted transaction list.

  • The Manage Timesheet Items grid and form have been migrated to a modernized interface, maintaining existing functionality with a refreshed look and feel.

  • New exempt options for New York City and Yonkers local taxes are available within employee withholding settings, allowing users to suppress these calculations via checkboxes on the employee record, Start Forms, or timecards.
