1. Open General Ledger
First, navigate to the General Ledger option in the left-hand menu.
2. Access All Transactions
Next, select any of the default or custom grid views or tabs. For example, All Transactions.

3. Sort by Description
Now, type in the filter fields at the top of the desired column to search for a specific transaction or a group of transactions.
4. Apply Filter Settings
From the filter buttons, you can use the Type filter to isolate certain transaction types only.
Note: Common ways to filter may include by account, description, amount, transaction number, or transaction date.
5. Apply Funnel Settings
Alternatively, you can click on the funnel for more filtering options. For example, transaction types I.
6. Activate Filter
Then, click the Filter button to apply the filters and update the transaction list accordingly.
7. Click On Transactions
Now, you can select and isolate desired transactions that you may be interested in editing, exporting, or exploring the Bulk Actions options you have for these transactions.
8. Apply Bulk Action Selection
From the Actions dropdown, you will see the options to Approve, Post, Void, Commit, Send Email Reminders, Update Notifications, and Delete.
9. Access Actions
Apply bulk actions to selected transactions by selecting the Bulk Actions drop-down.
10. Open Edit Mode
Instead, if you'd like to edit transaction details of the filtered transaction(s), click Edit toward the top right-hand corner.

11. Edit Transactions
Now, editable fields appear with a bold border.
12. Enter Changes
Make your edits on the column header with the Blue Arrows on the right to edit.
13. Apply Bulk Changes
When you're ready, you can click on the Blue Arrows to bulk update the information.
14. Save Transaction Changes
When you're ready, click Save to submit your changes.
15. Export Transaction Data
Click Export to generate a file of the current transaction data for external use or recordkeeping.
16. Select Export Type
From the Export dropdown, you will have the choice of what type of file you'd like to use for the export download.
Note: the PDF option will export only transactions that fit on the page, whereas the Excel option will export transactions on all pages.
