GreenSlate v103.0 focuses on crew onboarding improvements, timecard processing efficiency, and workflow enhancements across the platform. Key updates include a redesigned onboarding experience, expanded grid capacity for daily times, new meal grace controls, and a simplified Start Form panel. This release also introduces Budget File Import and enhanced General Ledger reports, banking integrations, accounting form improvements, and security enhancements, delivering improved stability and performance throughout the platform.

These updates benefit crew members completing start paperwork, payroll accountants processing high-volume timesheets, and department heads managing daily time entries.

  • Streamlined crew member onboarding: We've overhauled the onboarding experience with clearer calls to action, accurate progress indicators, and intuitive navigation. The "Start Work" status banner and "W2" tile on the home page correctly reflect completion status, and the "Review" button for start forms is easier to find. Less repetition, fewer mistakes, and faster crew onboarding mean your team can focus on production, not paperwork.

  • Simplified “Start Form” panel in the Start Work packet: The “Start Form” panel now displays only essential information, making it easier to review statuses and take action. Optimized columns, enhanced tooltips, and mobile-friendly defaults reduce scrolling and speed up crew packet processing on both desktop and mobile devices.

  • Default week ending date in “Batch Timecard Creation”: The week ending selector in "Batch Create Timecards" now automatically defaults to match the project's timecard pre-create settings, reducing errors, preventing rejections, and keeping your approval process moving smoothly. Create timecards for multiple crew members with confidence that the dates align every time.

  • Daily Times grid pagination expansion: The Daily Times grid now displays 100 records by default with options to view up to 300 records per page, so payroll accountants can process high-volume timesheets more efficiently without constant page-flipping. Faster workflows, fewer clicks, more time back in your day.

  • “Meal 1 Grace” column on hours timecard: A new "Meal 1 Grace" column and toggle have been added to the hours timecard. Department heads, assistant directors, and payroll accountants can now apply grace periods across multiple crew members on the “Daily Times” grid, eliminating repetitive individual edits and speeding up daily timecard processing.

  • Improvements in division management: The “Divisions” grid now displays accurate user and employee counts, and non-functional columns have been removed for a cleaner interface.

  • Grid view enhancements: Tabs now behave more consistently when adding or pinning views. Navigating to a view URL that no longer exists redirects to the default view for that grid. These enhancements reduce confusion and ensure users always see the correct data when working with saved grid views.

  • Budget Files Import: Import budget data seamlessly from JSON files directly into the GreenSlate “Cost Report” system, streamlining your budget workflow for projects without sub-accounts. Supports multiple uploads throughout the production lifecycle, with flexible data formats that adapt to your production needs.

  • Enhanced General Ledger reports: The “GL Bible” PDF, CSV, and Excel reports have been visually refreshed and optimized for better readability and faster performance.

  • International Payments with Bank of America: Automated foreign currency payments to international vendors through Bank of America will streamline payment processing and reduce manual errors. Features include automated currency conversion, improved compliance handling, and real-time payment tracking.
